Necati Güler, one of the legendary players in the history of Turkish basketball and TAC’s 1975 graduate, was the guest of honor in the meaningful ceremony held in TAC campus. With the presence of his sons Sinan Güler and Muratcan Güler, his classmates from TAC, TAC teachers and students, the ceremony marked the retirement of Güler’s team jersey which he used in his professional basketball career between 1968-1975.
The event honoring Güler, who is recognized and revered for the values he instilled in Turkish basketball, was a scene to emotional moments for both Güler and his classmates. Güler’s jersey is now on permanent display at the Nejat Güngör Sports Hall of Tarsus American College.
