The ‘Environmental Systems and Societies Field Trip’25’ organised by the TAC Science Department, treated 10th and 11th graders to an unforgettable educational experience in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France. The field trip, which took place during the semester break on 19-23 January 2025, supported student learning in environmental sciences and biology lessons.

Visiting various notable cities in Europe such as Amsterdam, Den Haag, Brussels and Paris, TAC students had the opportunity to conduct on-site studies on nature and environment. Exploring sustainable urbanisation practices in Amsterdam, they found out more about international environmental policies in Den Haag, and more specifically, the environmental policies of the European Union in Brussels. They had a close look at the research on biodiversity and ecosystems in Paris.

The trip proved to be a rewarding experience, helping students develop a scientific perspective while expanding their environmental awareness.
