TAC Headmaster and school doctor’s Athletics Championships
On February 13 and14 Ali Cerraholu, school doctor and Andy Leathwood, Headmaster, travelled to Istanbul to compete in the Turkish Veterans Indoor Athletics Championships. They represented the Tarsus Schools well with each returning as the Turkish champion in their age group-- Ali for high jump and Andy for shot put. Andy also won a bronze medal in the 3000 meters. This weekend they will represent our schools and Turkey in the Balkan Indoor Championships in Bucharest, Romania
