TAC WILL REPRESENT MERSIN IN BASKETBALL
We are very excited to share the news that TAC’s basketball teams are maintaiingn their winning streak at the basketball tournaments! Tarsus American College high school and middle school boys’ teams have been awarded the regional championship trophy. Both teams succeeded in becoming regional champions undefeated. TAC High School and Junior High Teams will now be representing Mersin in two different tournaments taking place in April.
TAC Junior High Team won first place at the Junior High Regional Championship in Adana by defeating Hatay Güney Akademy Sports Club with a score of 79-49. They will now represent Mersin at the Anatolian Championship in Gaziantep on April 8-12, 2016.
At the High School tournaments hosted in Mersin, TAC’s basketball players saw victory in the game against Kahramamnmaraş Gençlerbirliği with a score of 94-53 and became Champion of the Southern Group. They will be representing Mersin at the Anatolian Tournament in Konya on April 5-9, 2016.
