TAC Bookmobile Heads to Kaleburcu Elementary

All Grades ( March 12, 2016)

The Bookmobile trip to Kaleburcu Village on March 12, 2016 was another enjoyable experience for all who joined in.

TAC students, together with the school principal and teachers from the English department,  left on Saturday morning and were eagerly welcomed by their hosts. As the students were sitting in their desks to begin the English lesson, TAC students distributed some handouts and the English lesson began. The young children were truly excited about learning new things in English, and had tons of fun while learning. The lesson ended with singing the son “Head, Shoulder….” The group made very good use of the sunny day by preparing the book selection in the school garden. TAC students helped their young students in choosing books according to their level and interest.

They also played ball with them, and were offered home made cookies in Kaleburcu. And when it was the time to say goodbye, there were already some solid plans for activities for the next visit.
