Successful Results At The Waterloo University Math Contests:
Pascal-Cayley And Fermat
Seventy four TAC students from grades 9, 10 and 11 took part in the Pascal, Cayley and Fermat Mathematical competitions organized annually by the prestigious Waterloo University, which provides students the opportunity to compare their math abilities with students from other countries.
At the Pascal contest which draw 25835 students globally, Melisa Karakullukçu was eligible for a medal. Also, Nida Aktaş, Emirhan Nasif, Melis Vural and Melisa Karakullukçu were included in the Student Honor Roll. In addition, grade 9 students Berke Can, Emre Yapıcı, Bertil Örtlek, Elif Rana Acımış, Erol Kaan Bostan, Buğra Ergin, Yağmur Suntur, Selen Yılmaz, Nilsu Karteper, Mert Yiğitbaşı, Efe Çifci, Doğa Baykal, Evrim Uygar Gol, Ayser Selcen İleri, Merve Bostan and Ece Özer were found eligible to receive a certificate of merit.
At the Cayley contest where there were 20286 contestants, grade 10 students Hazal Güyıldar, Nil Yağmur İlba, Hüseyin Kara, Ege Demirkıran, Sezer Yiğit Uçan were eligible to receive a certificate of merit.
At the Fermat contest which attracted 15987 students as contestants, grade 11 students Denizcan Bolat and Mehmet Daş were found worth of receiving a medal and were included in the Student Honor Roll. As well as Denizcan and Mehmet, Erez Büyükyılmaz, Cahitcan Uzman, İkra Aktaş, Sema Nil Yılmaz, Aylin Pulat, Cem Güler and Efe Utku received a certificate of merit.
