The chat and book-signing with the author Neslihan Önderoğlu, who was invited to TAC as part of the Turkish Literature Department’s “conversations with authors” sessions, was well attended. Önderoğlu, who won the Haldun Taner National Story Writing Award in 2013 with her first collection of short stories “İçeri Girmez Miydiniz?” talked to TAC students about her adventures in writing, reading skills, authors and inspirations. She answered their questions about professional writing and her own motivations. The activity concluded with the author signing her books and with the Turkish Literature Department Önder Şit’s presenting the author flowers and a bag of souvenirs from TAC.
