TAC Merits At The International Mathematics Competition
To the Fryer contest organized by the prestigious Waterloo University, which measures student skills in English and mathematics and helps them compare themselves with students from around the world, 20 TAC Grade 9 students attended this year. TAC was included in the international honor list by ranking the 16th among 522 schools worldwide. At the higher level contest, Hypatia, where TAC was represented by 10 students from grade 11, the school ranked the 44th among 596 schools, again making it to the international honor list. Grade 9 students Bertil Örtlek, Sena Erdinç, Berke Can, Yağmur Suntur, and grade 10 students Nil Yağmur İlba, in Galois Mathematics Contest, and grade 11 students Denizcan Bolat, Cahitcan Uzman, Efe Utku, Arın Manav, Sema Nil Yılmaz received special recognition certificates for making it to the top 25 percentile worldwide.
