A Memorable Visit to ZICEV
TAC support to Tarsus Branch of ZİÇEV (Foundation for the Protection and Education of Children with Mental Disabilities) continues this year as part of the community service activities.
During the preliminary visit on October 26 by the school guidance counselors Özlem Algan and Eda Betül Şahin, and our Activity Coordinator Gülay Damar, ZİÇEV representatives explained about the kinds of potential collaboration between the two institutions, planning activities which will contribute to the ZİÇEV students academically and socially. The academic materials and cleaning supplies needed by ZİÇEV were also identified.
Then the visit took place on December 14 with student representatives of the Interact Club and our Headmaster Mr. Leathwood, guidance counselors Özlem Algan and Eda Betül Şahin. We delivered the materials we have brought and TAC students did an art activity with ZİÇEV students spending some social and educational time.
