Warming Hearts in Cold Weather
Many children are not as fortunate as ours, as the opportunities provided by life are not fair to everyone. Some meet with challenges earlier on in life. They have a much greater battle with winter, the cold, and poverty.
We, as the Tarsus American College family, knowing that many of such children do not even have anything to wear in winter, decided to launch a campaign for the students of Hasan Hüseyin Daşdemir Middle School located in Bursa.
Under the project, “Warming Hearts in Cold Winter”, TAC students bought shoes, scarves, berets and socks for the children. A parent, who sponsored the project, donated shoes. We are thankful for his contribution.
We, at Tarsus American College, believe that we need to teach each student to take responsibility in creating a better world. We thank all students for their dedication to keeping these children warm in the cold of the winter.
