TAC vs MRA (Mehmet Ramiz Asutay Elementary)

The iron gates were opened.

The courtyard was empty.

We got off from Ramazan’s smart minibus.

Inhaling a bright yet cold Saturday morning.

“Let’s go and find them”, we said

and

we entered.

Grades 5, 6, 7 and 8.

They came…

Students of different faces, ages and heights..

Bu the same curiosity.

“Come on, what are you going to give us?” they asked.

They are brave, mischevious…

Slanted, squinting, clear eyes,

Some missing teeth,

And the bell rang! Our kids, were the teachers of their classes now.

and

They grew and helped others grow, for those 40 minutes.
