"Knowledge Becomes Valuable When Shared"
On Saturday, May 9, TAC students Rıfat Tuğrul, Ege Telatar, Zeynep Erdoğan, Ali Emir Asmar, Denizhan Kaynak ve Hasan Mert Bucak visited Ulaş Elementary School in the Ulaş Village of Tarsus on another TAC community service initiative, with their history teacher Hasan Turgut. Ulaş school students welcomed the TAC group with the excitement of trading the books they have already borrowed from the TAC bookmobile library with new ones, and as many of them as possible, in the light of the upcoming summer break. The administrators, staff and students of the host elementary school thanked TAC for this very generous support, which apparently helps develop a habit of reading for pleasure as well as for academic content, and showed great hospitality by serving sıkma and ayram to their guests. TAC students' playing football and basketball with the Ulaş students added to the value of the day.
