TAC students grade 3 students from Hasan Karamehmet…
I am so impressed to watch how our young TAC students interact with the young students from Hasan Karamehmet neighborhood school.
TAC students keep their little buddies engaged and active.
We have had an influx of eager TAC students who volunteer their time to teach and guide their new young friends. This is really wonderful as we usually have a full house!
They have had fun with place value, adding two, three and four digit numbers, teaching them about the concept of number lines, and playing educational and challenging math games on the Smart Board.
I know that the grade three students love coming here because they sprint across the grass and up the stairs to get here. I know that our TAC students love to be there because they also keep coming back.
Not only are the grade three students eager about math but they like to practice a little bit of English. I get to practice a little of my Turkish too.
