Sharing is Caring

We, the students and teachers of Tarsus American College, feel great pleasure in “sharing” through our on-going commitment to community service activities that we have undertaken in many areas, while also launching new and innovative projects. This year, we decided to share school uniforms from previous years, stored in the TAC Alumni Association’s school store,  with students in need.

The uniforms were prepared as presents by our students under the guidance of our CAS Coordinator, Mrs. Feray Akça, Activity Coordinator, Mrs. Gülay Damar, and IB Coordinator, Mr. Hakan Sapmazlı, and they were taken to Hasan Karamehmet Elementary School by grade 11 and 12 students. During the visit, the interactions between our students and the host school students really warmed our hearts.  That’s when we realized that our happiness and theirs were one and the same.

These outreach visits will continue in the coming months and will extend to other schools in the region.
