School-Parent Interaction Meeting on “Values”

Values: It is a window through which we see the world, enabling us to describe a situation, concept or phenomenon with the adjectives good-bad, beautiful-ugly, right-wrong. Values are the perspectives which make us, many times without our realization on a conscious level. Therefore it is crucial to address values, especially in today’s rapidly changing world, which are accepted by the general public and shaped by individul human character. The purpose of the school-parent interaction meeting on Wednesday, January 4th was to bring this topic to the discussion with the parents.

The meeting which was facilitated by school’s guidance counselors, Sinan Öz and Eda Şahin included activities which aimed to raise awareness about our values, sharing the impact of social experiences on our personal values and priorities. This series of meetings, enriched with the daily-life examples brought by the parents in attendance, will continue in the second semester.

TAC’s Counseling Department thanks all parents who attended the session, hoping to meet with more parents in the upcoming events.
