GRADE 9 STUDENTS CLOSE THE SEMESTER WITH A VISIT TO A WORKPLACE

TAC’s visits organized to various business establishments in the region, an important part of the career counseling activities, aim to help students discover business processes onsite and see how they work providing them the opportunity to discover their own strengths towards a professional path. The first workplace visit of the academic year took grade 9 students, their guidance counselor Mrs. Özlem Algan and Grade 9 Assistant Principal Mrs. Sheila Salim to a milk and dairy processing factory, Güney Süt. During the visit, the students found out about the processes and the conditions in the production of bottled milk. They also experienced first hand how delicious a warm and fresh cheddar cheese can get during production stage!

We thank the staff of Güney Süt for making this an informative and also very enjoyable one for our students. These visits will continue throughout the second semester.
