The Champion of the 14th Güner Baykall Basketball Tournament, hosted by Tarsus American College, was Fenerbahçe Ülker team which beat Beşiktaş in the final game.
The tournament, which has been bringing together the promising teams of Turkish basketball in Tarsus for 14 years, aims to immortalize the name of late Güner Baykal, the Chair of the Board of Directors of SEV (Health and Education Foundation) who lost his life in a traffic accident in 2001. The participants of the tournament were the 2000-born athletes of Beşiktaş Sports Club, Çukurova University Sports Club, Dokuz Eylül Sports Club, Fenerbahçe Ülker Sports Club, Galatasaray Sports Club, Türk Telekom Sports Club and Tarsus American College.
At the end of the three days ceremony the following awards were presented:
Most Valuable Player: Adem Bayrak of Fenerbahçe
Best Guard: Faik Can Kaşıkçı or Çukurova University Sports Club
Best Forward: Ali İhsan Paçacı of Dokuz Eylül Sports Club
Best Pivot Player: Adem Bayrak of Fenerbahçe
