Snow has a Different Shade of White in Bansko

Bansko ski resort and facilities are maybe the first of the internationally acclaimed ski reports of Bulgaria. The town of Bansko, situated on the outskirts of Pirin Mountains, which is under UNESCO preservation, is famous for its natural beauty as well as its historic buildings. TAC decided to take our students to the Bansko ski camp in the outskirts of Pirin to inhale the fresh Balkan air and to make the most of the white layers of the snow season.

The trip to the “Bansko Ski and Snowboard Camp”, organized for a second year by TAC’s Physical Education Department, allowed the students to get a great head start on the semester holiday. TAC students travelled to the Bansko resort, one of the most popular in Europe, on January 15-20, 2017 where they enjoyed the early start of the holiday, nature and skiing. They returned home with indelible memories including the sampling of traditional Bulgarian dishes, ice skating under the falling snow, snowball fights, and so many more. We thank everyone who worked to make this memorable trip possible.
