TAC Bookmobile in Kaleburcu
TAC’s Turkish Literature Department organized another community service visit to Kaleburcu Elementary School on 11.02.2017. The host teachers and students, who eagerly welcomed our group, rushed to their classes to wait for their student teachers from TAC to come to the class for another fun English lesson. TAC students were also happy as they were able to teach to an extremely receptive audience. The lesson content focused on counting and making conversation in English. The lesson was wrapped up with some informal chat with the students. After the lesson, books that were brought by the bookmobile were presented to this enthusiatic group of readers. Red frisbees were the surprise accompaniment to the wonderful gift of books. TAC students, who had a delightful time in the garden with the students, then got on the buses for home.
