Tarsus American College (TAC) graduates were "welcomed home" in another wonderful "Homecoming" this year. Homecoming, one of the most important traditions of the 127-year history of TAC, brought together hundreds of TAC alumni in its historic campus, treating them to an amazing reunion.

The event, held in May in every year, took place on Saturday, May 16 this year with participation of over 1000 graduates. It was a very colorful day full of songs, dances, sports games, reminiscing of the old days. It had graduates of 1945 and 2014 together, shouting in unison TAC's "Bombalaki" chant.

The recognition plaque ceremony in the auditorium was a scene to brass bands accompanying the entrance of each class into the venue, according to their "seniority", in a carnival-like atmosphere.

Following the opening remarks of Headmaster Mr. Leathwood and Principal Günseli Yüksel welcoming alumni from all classes to TAC, both former and current faculty of TAC were recognized with a warm applause. This was followed by a 1.5-hour presentation about the activities of the TAC Alumni Association.

Later in the day and into the evening, the historic campus saw the continuation of these festivities with dinner, performances of Echo bands on stage in front of Woolworth, catching up with old friends and making new ones.
