National Library Week Activities at Tarsus American College
The winner of the guessing game, “We Read Too, Can You Guess Who?”, which was based on trying to find out the identity of various teachers in the photos where they covered a part of their faces with books, was Ilgaz Baykal from 11-C IB FM.
Ilgaz demonstrated his sense of responsibility and social awareness by donating his prize – a cheque – to support the “1 Pen + 1 Notebook” campaign which was launched by students to support village schools Tarsus. We congratulate him on both his win and this exemplary gesture.
The activities planned by the school as part of Library Week will continue to raise awareness in the community about the importance of reading in a person’s life.
