TAC at the Drama Festival
The SEV American High Schools Performance Arts Fest (TYTF) was held at ACI in İzmir on April 28-29 and drew participation from the Turkish Drama and ISTA performers of Tarsus American College, Usküdar American Academy, SEV American College, and American Collegiate Institute in İzmir. TAC’s young actors, under the direction of the Turkish Drama Club teacher advisors, Mr. Önder Şit and Mr. Mikail İncir, staged their second performance of the play “Seven Husbands for Hürmüz”l. The participants, who staged drama acts and attended workshops, learned, shared and had fun over the course of two days and were enriched through a “non-competitive” learning experience which focused on self-improvement based on constant feedback. We hope that this festival becames a tradition, and that the curtains for such learning opportunities are never down!
