Under the “academic excellence” motto of the Health and Education Foundation, the teachers and administrators of the Health and Education Foundation joined a workshop in Adana on September 29-39 to work on Turkish curriculum.

During the workshop, the curricula used for Turkish course in A-12 levels were analyzed with regard to learning attainments, objectives, resources and materials, instructional methodologies, and assessment methods, and the necessary changes towards a better vertical articulation were identified. At the workshop, the importance of both summative and formative assessment, enrichment of interdisciplinary activities, transferring learning behaviors into habits, as well as 21st century skills were emphasized. The event provided an effective forum for teachers to get to know each other and share best practices.
