TARSUS ZİÇEV Teachers and Students at TAC

At the TAC campus, we hosted a group of students and teachers at the Tarsus branch of ZİÇEV, (Foundation for the Education and Protection of Mentally Handicapped Children). Under the supervision of our psychological counselor, Özlem Algan, and our activity coordinator, Gülay Damar, TAC’s peer counselors from grade 10 led a painting activity entitled, "Atatürk and November 10".

We know, far beyond the activities we have been doing together, what matters the most is that our students smile back at the younger students of ZİÇEV and that they create a spirit of sharing, and that at the end of the day, students feel that they have done a good thing.

The collaborating peers now recognize each other when they meet, thanks to the activities that have been conducted with Tarsus ZİÇEV since last year. When it was the time to leave, they said goodbye with the promise of meeting again in the next activity.

As with all community service activities, our main desire in our collaboration with ZİÇEV is that it develops TAC students, strengthens them mentally and emotionally, as well as improves their ties to society. For this reason, we thank the Tarsus ZİÇEV family for empowering us in this regard. We also thank the TAC students who always work willingly and contribute greatly to the activities: Ulaş Kaygısız, Eren Onur Yılmaz, Zeynep Salihoğlu, Ege Yüceel, Mateo Teoman Dağcı, Doğa Baykal, Sıla Çinbilgel, Tolga Mayaoğlu, Fuat Erten, Nehir Gizir, Mina Yenice, Göktuğ Uçak.
