TAC Community Meets in “Toy Friendship”

For pre-school children, games and toys play an essential role in their healthy growth to the same extent as nutrition, care, love and attention. The crucial importance of toys and games was the starting point of the Toy Friendship Project, which we are excited to take on this year.

With this social awareness and under the guidance of the teachers of the Science Department, 9th, 10th and 11th graders: Tuna Çavaş, Mert Kepece, Atakan Arikan, Doğu Yurtsever, Alper Kutlar, Mehmet Yağız Kocatürk, Döne Gül Biçer, Elif Naz Kaya, Ulaş Kaygısız, Süleyman Şah Doruk The Toy Fellowship Project led by Koncagül, Yunus Aktas, Boran Erdogan, Kerem Gökşin, Mustafa Toslak, Berat Güdül, Buse Orak and Gönül Meliha Manav designed the project which started with a bake sale in school and the proceeds were used to buy new toys. At the same time, used toys were collected around the school campus.

These toys, that were wrapped nicely, were then shared with pre-school children during the visit of a group of students and teachers to Kelahmet Village Primary School.

The smiles on the faces of the young students when receiving their toys was a great reward to those who particpated in this important pursuit, making their wishes come true. This  made the students even happier and inspired TAC teachers and students to continue with the next steps of the project.

A toy brings a thousand dreams! Let us work hand in hand to make more dreams come true!
