TAC’s 9th Graders Visit Mersin Archeological and Naval Museum
Our school's 9th grade students took a project tour to the Mersin Archeology and Marine Museum on December 28th under the guidance of their teachers from the Social Sciences Department.
Through visits to the Archeology and Marine Museum, the aim was to build student knowledge about lifestyles and cultures of old civilizations by enabling them to look closely at the historical findings, and to take ownership of their past by tracking the history of humanity throughout centuries.
At the end of the trip, which was like time travel, our students said that they now have a better understanding of the richness of the history, both in our region and our country, thanks to this first-hand exploration.
