End-of-Semester Party with Tarsus ZİÇEV
In the fourth gathering of the year with students from the Tarsus branch of ZİÇEV (Foundation for the Training and Protection of Mentally Challenged Children), we closed the 1st semester of the academic year with a nice party.
In this final activity for the semester, Mrs. Gülay Damar, TAC’s Activity Coordinator, and Mrs. Özlem Algan, guidance counselor, were again accompanied by our Grade 10 peer counselors. The gifts, which were specially handpicked by the peer counselors, were presented to the ZİÇEV students. It was a fun day filled with music and dance. Later, delicious treats were consumed accompanied by warm conversations. This community service project with ZİÇEV students, who expressed their pleasure of being invited to TAC and thanked our students and teachers at every opportunity, will surely continue with the same energy during the second semester.
We would like to thank, once again, all the peer counselors who contribute to the community service projects, which is an integral part of the TAC ethos.
