A Tough Competition in Sciences!
This year’s second Science Knowledge Bowl saw the participation of our 9th grade students. Representative students selected from five different classes demonstrated fierce competition in the fields of physics, chemistry and biology.
There were four questions in each area. In the event, the excitement grew as the number of correct answers increased from different teams, which made it much more exciting to watch for the audience. For a potential tie between teams, reserve questions were prepared to determine the winner.
As the students cheered on their classmates, they were anxiously waiting for the results. At the end of the competition, the students of the winning section shared the joy of their friends on stage. The great cheer of the winners was worth seeing.
At the end of the competition, 9E students, Esat Tuna Erdağı, Ramazan Cem Mahanoğlu and Deniz İstanbullu, who successfully represented their class, were presented with gifts. In addition, certificates of participation were presented to all students.
Some the aims of Science Knowledge Bowl are to improve the ability of instant response, improve the students sense of responsibility, and, most importantly, to strengthen friendship ties between peers. Because our student profile changes every year, this venue to share scientific information sharing becomes increasingly more exciting and competitive.
