Project Preparation Process and Student Experiences
The TAC Science Department welcomed a group of Mersin Deniz Ticaret Odası Technical Anatolian High School teachers and students and participants from Portugal, Lithuania and Latvia to our school on April 17. We gave a presentation on project-based teaching techniques related to efficient and effective education in the teaching of science and mathematics. The presentation was entitled, "Effective Methods for Strengthening the Learning Process in Teaching Science" under the "Erasmus + Program Strategic Partnerships" which has been approved by the European Union Education and Youth Programs Presidency.
Ege Yüceel, a grade 10 student, presented his “Bionic Hand” project and Murat Sun, a grade 11 IB students, presented the project he designed for projectile motion. Our students shared their experiences about stages in project production.
