Physical Education Teachers Meet in İstanbul
The physical education teachers in all SEV Amerian Schools met in a workshop on August 28-29, 2018 hosted by the SEV American College (SAC) in Istanbul. The group consisted of P.E. teachers from the primary, middle school and high schools levels.
The event was a great opportunity for sharing best practices such as physical agility measurement methods, technology integration, English, theory and hands-on instructional methods. Reviewing these practices and methods in the light of reaching the desired learning provided tangible benefits, as well as new ideas, to all P.E. teachers.
The workshop which started with the opening remarks of SAC Principal Ms. Elvan Tongal continued with the remarks of Ms. Dale Orlando Taylor (SAC Headmaster), Mr. Rasim Küçükkurt (Member of Board, Chair of the Sports Committee & TAC Graduate), Mr. Necati Güler (Member of the Sports Committee, National Basketball Player and TAC Graduate), Mr. Cemil Ergin (Member of the Sports Committee and TAC Graduate), and Ms. Gonca Dilik (National Team Volleyball player) and the tour of the new sports facilities.

The event concluded with a volleyball game among teachers.
The workshops received positive feedback from all participants as they reinforced a productive learning and sharing of current instructional methods in the P.E. class between the institutions under the Health and Education Foundation.
