Prep Campout at TAC
Prep students and teachers of TAC enjoyed the first experience of camping in the natural environment of their 40-acre campus thanks to the Prep Campout organized by the PE Department.
With this activity, the students experienced camp culture which develops individuals freedom and independence. They first set up their tents with the help of their teachers, and then helped with the rest of the preparations for the evening camp.
With all chores completed, it was the time for entertainment. Following the circuit runs, tug'o war and skipping rope, the evening culminated with the karaoke contest, followed by the movie night. At the end of the movie, the students were treated to the delicious crepes made on campus by Belgin Hanım. In the following hours, the students were singing and dancing around the campfire.
TAC's prep students, who left the amenities of information technology aside - even for one day - had the opportunity to commune with nature and socialize with friends, while developing skills of teamwork and sharing in a camp setting which does not allow much to act outside of a social group.
We hope to see all in next year's campout!
