Ashura Day at TAC
TAC hosted the first Ashura Day on campus during the month of October. Ashura is a traditional mixture of nuts and dried fruit which symbolizes charity and a spirit of sharing. Proceeds raised will go to support the education of the children from an underprivileged family in the community. The event shared the tradition of Turkey with our local and international students and faculty. This year's event came about as a suggestion by TAC students and was possible through the support of the Sofra Catering Staff.
