World Philosophy Day at TAC
Since 2002, the third week of November is celebrated as “World Philosophy Day”. To mark the ocaasion, a Philosophy Day Event was organized at TAC.on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
Within this celebration, projects were prepared by the students about the “World Philosophy Day “ which were exhibited during the courses.
In the assembly in the auditorium, we hosted Dr. Taşkıner Ketenci, instructor at Mersin University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Philosophy. In his remarks, Ketenci explored ”Social Media from the Perspective of Philosophy”. This discussion about the use of communication outlets and social media from the eyes of young people was enjoyed by all students.
