Tarsus American College Code Fest

Tarsus American College and Tarsus SEV Middle School Computer Science teachers and students joined forces to organize an event with the aim of raising awareness about coding and robotics. The event was held on November 1st, 2018 to coincide with the European Coding Week.

Before the event, teachers and students prepared robotics and software stations for the event. According to the planning, two students each from high school and middle school group took on duties at each station.

Additional students joined workshops representing their specific area of interest with the guidance of the responsible students who acted as instructors in using the devices on display.

The event allowed students to explore various fields in software and robotics such as Arduino, 3-D design, EV3 coding, swift, python, and HTML-CSS.

In the awareness-raising activity, students also had the chance to test the products they produced.

The event was held at the Alumni Field and lasted for approximately two hours.
