The First Visit to TAC’s Mobile Maker Library Started with Fun and Inspirational Activities!

The Makerspace Movement helps students understand and apply technology while providing hands-on learning opportunities in areas such as critical thinking, creativity, and cooperation.

For the first time, TAC’s Book Mobile added a “maker activity” this week to the activities it offers to sister schools, which TAC students and faculty regularly visit as part of the school's commitment to community service.

In the first activity which was introduced on December 1, 2018, students demonstrated engineering design, kinetic, and potential energy projects. The exciting activities included designing a vehicle which works with balloons. Students designed the vehicles using recycled materials then raced the self-made vehicles against one another in playful competition.
