Tarsus American College visited the Kelahmet Primary School as part of the Book Mobile Project

On Saturday, November 24th students from Tarsus American College visited the Kelahmet Primary School as part of the Book Mobile Project carried out between the TAC English and Social Studies Departments.  On this Saturday, the group was accompanied by High School Principal Günseli Yüksel and English teacher, Ellen Johnston.  TAC students and faculty were received by the school’s principal and teachers to learn more about the students and specific needs of the school before TAC students divided into teaching teams and entered the classrooms to teach English lessons in classrooms. Upon completion of the lesson, students socialized by playing ball games or conversing with primary age students on the playground before lining up for snacks and a book from the student-run bookmobile. Students were seen with smiling faces after receiving their book to read.

Participating students: Boran Altuntop, Deniz Erdoğan, Mustafa Toslak, Ferit Sezen, Sude Özenboy, Defne Düzgün, Arda Uta, Esat Tuna Erdağı, and Doğa Naz Temel
