Usküdar American College Hosts “Autumn Basketball Tournament”
The annual Autumn Basketball Tournament, hosted by Üsküdar American Academy between November 30 - December 02, 2018, was a true partnership of the SEV American schools, with participation of both male and female basketball teams of Üsküdar American Academy (UAA), Izmir American Collegiate Institute (ACI), Tarsus American College (TAC) and SEV American College (SAC).
The tournament started at noon on Friday, November 30, 2018, with the arrival of the other SEV American schools on UAA campus. In addition to the successful matches played by TAC’s athletes over the course of three days, it was also very meaningful for them to be hosted by UAA students, to build new friendships, to socialize and share their love of sports with the students of their sister schools, and to represent the traditions of the schools they are from.
The Autumn Basketball Tournament culminated with an award ceremony on Sunday at 14.00. Tournament rankings are as follows:

These activities with social, athletic and cultural components are very important for SEV schools as they bring the students of our Foundation schools closer together, help build new and deep-rooted friendships.
