The FRC (First Robotics Competition) Workshop was held on Monday, January 14th!

The FRC is an internationally well-recognized tournament giving high school students the opportunity to explore the fields of engineering, software, robotics in a friendly competition - based on dialogue and sharing - with other schools from around the world. Teams which are locally successful move on to compete in the international arena.

On Monday, January 14, the robotics team of our sister school, Izmir American College, met with our students to share their knowledge and experiences about tournaments and their teams.

In this meeting, they shared their experiences with us and presented the details of what brought them the accomplishment of globally second place at the RoboRave competition, and how they prepared for the event.

In the program, our students have discussed the following topics:

● General information about FIRST and FRC competitions

● How to manage teams, subgroups (PR, Project, Social Media, Mechanics / Electronics and Programming)

● Mechanical and Electronics workshop.

● FIRST recording system.
