TAC Boys Basketball at the National Semi-Finals

 

Tarsus American College boys basketball A team successfully represented our school at the Turkish national semi-finals held on February 6-10, 2019 in Osmaniye. TAC’s team which competed with the school teams from eight different provinces, completed the season with a proud result of placement in the top 16 teams nationally.

• İzmir Çiğli Doğa Bilim Anatolian High School, Çiğli, İzmir

• Antalya Sınav Anatolian High School, Murat Paşa, Antalya

• Tarsus American College, Tarsus, Mersin

• Van Sports High School, Tuşba, Van

• Diyarbakır Final Science High School, Kayapınar, Diyarbakır

• Mardin Final High School, Artuklu, Mardin

• Saraç İlgi Anatolian High School, Karaköprü, Şanlıurfa

 

At the end of the four days of stiff competition, Esenyurt Okyanus Anatolian High School and İzmir Çiğli Doğa Bilim Anatolian High School were the two teams qualfying to participate in the Turkish finals to be held in Samsun on February 27-March 3, 2019.

Our school completed the tournament with 2 wins and 2 losses, sharing the third place with Antalya Sınav Anatolian High School.
