Tour of Italy and Switzerland
TAC’s CERN tour started on March 30, 2019 with 16 students at Adana Sakirpasa Airport. Rome was the first destination of this comprehensive tour of Italy and Switzerland. The next day, the students and teachers took an intense sighseeing tour of the cities of Pisa and Florence. On the third day of our tour, they visited the Ferrari Museum and Factory in Modena, followed by the tour of Milan. On the 4th day, before leaving Milan, students and teachers enjoyed a visit to the Leonardo da Vinci Science Museum, before heading to Montreux and Lausanne in Switzerland. At the end of the tour to Gruyeres, between Montreux and Lausanne, the last trip of the day was to Ferney, located on the Swiss-French border. After a comprehensive tour and a briefing at the CERN on the 5th day, the TAC group was able to tour around Geneva, Brunswick Monument, UN building, Jet D’Eau Fountain, Russes Basses. After one last trip on the bus, the members of the group headed to the Geneva Airport, concluding an amazing field trip back where it all started: Adana Şakirpaşa Airport.
