Students Learn about Geographical Terminology by Competing!
In the most recent lesson, Grade, 10 students used web-based test tools to learn new information on the subject of soil types while cooperating and competing with each other to find the correct answers. They practiced the skills of questioning, doing research, and analyzing while playing games. These activities help build teamwork and higher order thinking skills in the social sciences.
