Prep Students Experience the Tarsus Tour[1]

Thursday and Friday, the 2-3 of May, TAC Prep students, teachers, and accompanying parents toured historical sites in Tarsus on this year's Tarsus Tour.

The tour was led by a guide named Serpil Demir, who was sponsored by the PTA representatives.

Sites visited included St. Paul's Church, followed by the Grand Mosque, the Kirkkasik Historical Bazar, David's Tomb, St. Paul's Well, and the gates outside the Ancient Roman Road.

In the Bazar, students were treated to tea while they learned about the history of the building commonly known as "Forty Spoons" as the walls are adorned with large wooden spoons.

The trip ended with a sweet treat before students returned to campus for the rest of the school day.

The Tarsus Tour allowed students and teachers to learn more about the historical area surrounding TAC's campus.
