SFL Department Says Goodbye to 2018-2019 Academic Year
In these days when the end of 2018-2019 academic year is drawing to a close, the Second Foreign Language department of Tarsus American College combined the teaching of a German unit with a ‘delicious’ year-end gathering with students. Our teachers, who frequently use the experiential learning method in the lessons, made German potato salad, pasta salad and waffel with grade 10 students as part of the unit “Essen, trinken und kochen” (eating, drinking and cooking).
During this differentiated learning experience, all grade 10 students reinforced their learning of German through following German recipes. At the end of the lesson, the whole class enjoyed the food that they have made. We wish all TAC students a nice summer holiday.
