The Parent Conference Titled “Parenting an Adolescent”,
The parent conference titled “Parenting an Adolescent”, annually organized by the Counseling Service for the parents of prep students, was held this year on 6 November. In the presentation by Serhat KÖSE, titled “What is Puberty?”, general characteristics of adolescence, mental health in adolescence, and parent-teenager communication in this period were discussed. In the second session, sample case studies were conducted with parents who read the letters written by the students to their families.
The activity was completed with our parents' sharing their experiences and the Q&A section.
