Peer Counseling Project
The Peer Counseling Project, which is based on the principle that an adolescent will receive the best assistance from the person closest to them, is conducted by our school's Counseling Department. The ten-week skills training of grade 9 students taking part in the project started on March 23. TAC’s volunteering students will be involved in many activities on different themes such as teamwork, communication skills, helping others and ethical principles during the training, which started in two different groups on Tuesday. Students who successfully complete the training will be entitled to a peer counselor certificate starting from the 10th grade, and will take part in peer support activities under the supervision of the school’s guidance counselors.
The students who participated in the training had the chance to get to know each other better and to discover their strengths by working on team building during the first two weeks.
