Emir (TAC 21) and a Turkish national team tennis player was recently admitted by Rice University in Houston, Texas to play as an incoming freshman student-athlete on the Rice men’s tennis team. TAC’s young tennis player is taking the courts by storm and he has played competitive tennis in five continents as part of the Turkish national team. Emir attended TAC through a sports scholarship received from our governing Health and Education Foundation and he demonstrates how our student-athletes may achieve success in both academics and sports while following an intensive academic program.
The total scholarship he will receive from Rice will be 200,000USD, and through his success a young Turkish player’s name will be known in NCAA Division One athletics. TAC is very proud of him and his acceptance and we wish him the best in the future.
