Snow Has Another Beauty In Bansko
Bansko, a Legendary Skiing Attraction
On the skirts of Pirin Mountain, the Bansko Ski Center is one of those rare places still rich in unique historical architecture. Considered to be a cultural heritage site of Bulgaria, windign streets with narrow pavements and thich walled houses with large bay windows are just some of the features which attract tourists from every age to Bansko, one of the steepest skiing centers of Europe. The total length of the ski tracks in Bansko is about 40 km and they are thought to be the most competitive ski tracks in Bulgaria and Europe.
With “The Bansko Ski and Snowboard Camp” organized by TAC’s Physical Education Department, our students made a good start to the semester break. TAC students who travelled to Bansko for five days at the end of January enjoyed nature and skiing to the fullest. During this trip our students, accompanied by their teachers as well as professional ski instructors, had a memorable experience in Bansko which they are already planning to return to next year.
