Each year, an average of 40% of the Tarsus American College graduates choose universities abroad for higher education.

During the application process for international universities, our International Universities Counselors provide individual to support to students.

One of the aspects that makes TAC different is that it has an "International Universities Counseling" department of professionals. Our counselors organize meetings with students who would like to study overseas and their parents, supporting them in their college choices and the application process.

During applications to universities abroad, our International Universities counselors support individual students with guidance in every aspect of the process. They schedule one-to-one meetings with each student who would like to study abroad to prepare a tailored roadmap for the application process aligned with the aspirations and characteristics of the student. Students are supported by our team in the completion of the application requirements such as letters of recommendation and intent, personal essays, transcripts and CVs, and extracurricular activities. Starting from the 9th grade, the requirements and expectations of international universities are explained to the students in detail during the homeroom periods, stressing the importance of grades and extracurricular activities throughout the high school. The students are also informed in detail on international standardized exams such as PSAT, SAT and TOEFL / IELTS with assistance about the exam calendar.

Another important service of the International Universities Counseling Department is to assist students in their summer school applications. Summer school is a good opportunity for students to have a great experience and learn about the education and lifestyle of the country they wish to live in.
